2020 Enrolments

We are starting the enrolment process for 2020 and ask all current families who will have a new child starting next year, to complete an enrolment form ASAP. Enrolment forms are available here, our website or from the school office.

Once the enrolment form is completed, please deliver to the office together with a copy of Birth Certificate.  If you are aware of any families looking to start at Yeronga State School next year, please direct them to the office for further information.

Lost Property

The piles of lost property are growing. Please remind your children to have a look in the lost property for any belongings they have misplaced. Junior lost property is located underneath the Year 1 building (in the middle) and Senior Lost Property is located under the stairs in Admin Block.

If you have misplaced or lost a more valuable items such as reading glasses, jewllery etc. Please come to the office to check if we have your missing item. 

Payments and Accounts

Week 1 of Term 3, Prep and Year 3 students will be participating in the Big Bang science incursion. Invoices have now be sent to all families. We ask that these invoices be paid before day 1 of term 3. If you require the invoice to be sent again please email the Business Manager on rbenn127@eq.edu.au.

Prefered payment is via BPoint and Qparents.

Triple P “Power of Positive Parenting” Information Session

Yeronga State School will be hosting another Triple P (“Power of Positive Parenting”) information session presented by Dr Karyn Healy from the University of Queensland.

This session will be held on Wednesday 17 July from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the Resource Centre (Library).

We are very fortunate to have Karyn joining us to work on parenting strategies and skills for a one and a half hour session, we encourage all parents and caregivers to attend. Parents are asked to please arrive at 5:45pm for a 6:00pm start.
