Hi Everyone,

It’s my first week at Yeronga State School and it’s been lovely getting to know everyone. Thank you for the warm welcome I have received from students, staff and families. Yeronga State School is certainly a happy place, full of smiling faces. 

I’m excited to be joining the Yeronga team as acting Deputy Principal 3-6 behind Kate Paynter. My education experience has been largely in the inclusion space, where I have  had the pleasure of working with staff and students to ensure that all learners are successful and meet their individual goals.  Having worked in special education settings for many years, I appreciate the uniqueness and abilities that all students bring to the classroom and school community. 

I look forward to working with you as a team to help each and every student meet their goals and have a successful school year.
