Yeronga Staff would like to thank all parents and carers for their prompt response to the new payment and permission policy that was released at the beginning of the year. Your quick response to our email communications and reminders via szapp have made events run even more smoothly.

It’s only with Parent response to the office emails that make it possible for us to continue to offer additional activities for Yeronga students.

Excursion/Incursions

Today all families are very busy and it can be difficult to stay on top of all events happening at the school. To ensure all parents at Yeronga receive the needed communication and are able to meet the due dates for payments and permissions we would like to highlight the following information to all parents.

We have 2 essential apps/systems that will help all to have a central location to locate invoices and permissions.

These are known as QParents and SZapp. What do these apps do and why do I need them?

QParents:

This app/website is the location where you can find and pay for student invoices. To gain access to this you must register. If you have not yet registered please email the school admin@yerongass.eq.edu.au requesting we reissue your QParents invitation.

QParents allows you to see all invoices at anytime day or night and will enable easy online payment. Most importantly it will allow you to track what has been paid already.

You will can read and download your student report cards and register your student absences online which will be sent straight to our system. No need to call, just upload your student absence.

We have invested in this app to help all parents locate invoices at anytime to meet needed due dates. This will ensure you don’t miss an invoice by email all you need to do is login to QParents.

SZAPP:

The Schoolzine app is here to assist with reminders for parents, urgent parent updates, permissions and events.

This app allows you to access parent emails about events along with permission links that you will see in blue. By pressing any of the blue text you will be redirected to a webform to give online permission.

By activating the notifications under the manage tab and selecting your student’s year level you will receive information from the school that will remind you of any upcoming deadlines and alerts.

This will assist in not missing due dates for permissions for your student/s.

With these two apps we are sure that meeting event deadlines will be much easier.

How do I get access to these?

QParents – Please email the school via admin@yerongass.eq.edu.au if you have not yet registered. Follow the details below to register once you have received the initial invitation email from QParents.

Have I Paid & Given Permission:

Due to multiple events every term we understand that it may be difficult to track what has been paid and if you have given permission for your students.

Once registered to QParents you will be able to easily track your payments. Please go to QParents first to confirm if you have any outstanding invoices. If there are no invoices outstanding but you would just like to confirm please check your bank statement to locate if a payment has been made.

What about permissions

Once you have given online permission via the blue links you will receive an email from Schoolzine – Yeronga State School – yerongass@schoolzineplus.com that will have all your permission details attached. Please keep these emails as a record for you to check later if you need to.
