Welcome Corina Lancaster (Year 2 Teacher)

Why did you decide to become a teacher?

My first interest in teaching came purely from having a wonderful feeling knowing that I was helping someone else. It then gradually became a more intellectual curiosity into child development and a desire to support children and their parents.

What other schools have you worked at or where else have you taught?

I have taught in both private and public schools in Toronto, Oxford, London, and now Brisbane.

Who is in your family? What do you like to do together?

My husband, James, is a lecturer at UQ, and is a Historian. I have a daughter, Frances, who is attending Yeronga and is in Year 2. I have a son named Frasier who is three years old.

What do you like to do on the weekend?

I aim to have an uninterrupted cup of tea, but that rarely happens.
