Volunteers Certificates
Despite the challenges of Covid-19 this year, there has been some opportunities for parents and friends to contribute to the life of the school. As recognition of your volunteer contribution, and as a token of our appreciation, a certificate will be sent home over the next few days. Please let me know if you don’t receive your certificate.
Christmas Hampers
What a generous community we have, with an abundance of awesome food and toy donations towards the Christmas Hamper project helping 10 school families with end of year festivities. Thank you so much. The hampers look great.
Kindness is Kool Club
The collection of donated activity books and colouring books will be dropped off to the Queensland Children’s Hospital early next week. So if there is still any unused books at home that you would like to contribute, please drop them off to A Block foyer on Monday or Tuesday. Thank you for the great collection that has already come in.
Seasons Greetings
I hope that the coming holidays will be refreshing and uplifting after quite a difficult and challenging year. It’s times like this where we realise what is most important to us, and where we should invest our time and energy. I hope you enjoy some more special time with your family and loved ones.
Thank you for your ongoing support for the Chaplaincy Program and all the projects I have done this year, as I try to look after the needs of the school community. I have now completed 10 years here as your Chappy. I still have energy and new ideas of things to do for 2021 and beyond.
Please feel free to contact me over the holidays via email if you have any needs, as I would like to keep up with what is happening, particularly in supporting families and staff through difficult periods.
All the best for the holidays, and let’s hope that 2021 is a brighter and happier year.
Blessings,
Chappy Jenny
