INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC RECRUITMENT
By the end of this week, all of the Year 2 and 3 students who completed the online SchoolZine agreement and handed in a permission form to consent to physical testing will have been through the physical testing process with either Mrs Rosewarne or Mrs Eastgate. Students will be notified by the end of next week (by November 13) as to if they have been accepted into the Instrumental Music program in 2021.
Thank you all so much for assistance with our amended recruiting process this year as we learn how to work around the current COVID restrictions. It’s definitely been a learning curve for all of us!

STRINGS NEWS
In week 5, the Chamber Strings ensemble had the privilege of a visit from renowned strings educator Natalie Sharp. Natalie ran a very engaging rehearsal and worked with the ensemble on developing refined ensemble skills including breathing together and listening more closely to each other.
Congratulations to the following band students for being accepted into the Primary State Honours Ensemble Program: Annabelle Abrahams, Edward Bowles, Lizzie Hooper, Sam Johansen and Jude McFarlane. Congratulations!
also to the following strings students who were accepted into the Middle School State Honours Ensemble Program: Darcy Appleton and Brian Zheng. Hundreds of students apply to participate in these programs each year and this will be an amazing experience for these students.
