Yeronga State School will be celebrating NAIDOC week this year through a free dress day. On Friday the 14th November, all children can wear the colours Red, Black and Yellow and bring a gold coin donation. All donations will go towards “Seed”
Seed is Australia’s first Indigenous youth climate network.
“We are building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. Our vision is for a just and sustainable future with strong cultures and communities, powered by renewable energy. Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing humanity, but we also know it is an opportunity to create a more just and sustainable world.”
Yeronga SHS Y-Tour Enrolment Information Sessions information –
Due to popular demand, we have added 2 more Y-Tour Enrolment Information sessions in Term 4. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our Y-Tours. We welcome families to explore our facilities, meet our leadership team, student leaders and experience the Yeronga difference. This is a great opportunity for prospective parents to discuss subjects, the school and any enrolment information.
All are welcome to attend. Morning/afternoon tea will be provided.
