P&C Report
2021 Senior shirt orders
Senior shirt order forms were given to all grade 5 students by P&C Uniform Shop Convenor, Yvonne Starr, in term 3. The deadline for orders is THIS Friday, 9 October 2020. Should the order form not have arrived home, please collect from the Uniform Shop, or email Yvonne ASAP at yerongassuniformshop@gmail.com.
Tuckshop now open Tuesdays
In response to feedback provided by our school community through the P&C Planning Survey, we are trialling opening the Tuckshop on Tuesdays from week 1 in term 4. Orders can now be made via Flexischools and our Tuckshop convenors, Yvonne and Stacey, are excited to be able to feed our children for an extra day each week.
Volunteers play a huge role in ensuring our Tuckshop menu is as affordable as possible for our school community. If you are willing and able to help in the Tuckshop on Tuesdays please email yerongasstuckshop@gmail.com. Tuesdays in term 4 will be a great opportunity for new volunteers to learn the ropes as we expect this will initially be the quietest day of the week. Volunteering is fun and a great way to get to know fellow YSS family members. Our kids also get a kick out of seeing family members helping at school. No experience is needed!

'Gingerbread fence people': Seeking volunteers to add final touches - 17 and 24 October
Term 4 provides a great opportunity for school community members to come together to help with final stages of the 2020 'gingerbread fence people' project.
The next stage is 'touch ups and outlines' for the designs painted by YSS children in term 3. Enjoy an afternoon of light painting and chat with fellow YSS family members while adding minor enhancements (outlines) to the designs of the students (no changes will be made to students' designs). No expertise is required, just a steady hand. Please wear clothes for painting and sign up for your preferred time here: www.signup.com/go/mnpBbsF. The 'final touches' working bee will be held at the home of YSS family, Sue and Jeremy Tape, and the address will be emailed to everyone who signs up to help.
The final 'fence people' volunteering opportunity will be to add the 'fence people' to the fence! This working bee will be held at school over two Saturdays - 14 and 21 November and volunteers can sign up here: www.signup.com/go/SnAFdhw.
