Parenting Tips and Support
It certainly has been a challenging time to parent school-aged children through the Covid-19 season of home learning and less options for organised extra-curricular activities. Professor Matthew Sanders, founder of Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) at The University of Queensland, has launched a new podcast, “Parenting in a Pandemic” with 15 episodes that answer questions and provide great advice to help you through this time, including: wrangling sibling conflict, shared parenting, and appreciating and supporting grandparents. To access the podcasts, go to: https://pfsc.psychology.uq.edu.au/parentinginapandemic and then click on the episode you want to listen to. You can also click on the link and paste it into your favourite podcast app search bar to add manually.
For further parenting tips and support, go direct to the Triple P website at… https://www.triplep-parenting.net.au.

Enjoy your holidays
Like most of you, I’m looking forward to the holidays, after a long and challenging term. It is so good to have a break from routine and making packed lunches, to catch up with friends, and have some fun with family. What is your plan for the holidays, and what might you need to organise to make the most of the time? I hope you enjoy the school break.
Blessings,
Chappy Jenny
