What is Kalari?

Kalari means ‘message stick’ in Jagera language which was the name of a school newsletter that was circulated in the 1980s at Yeronga State School. This name has been taken up in 2019 by the newly formed Indigenous Working Group, made up of volunteer parents. Anybody is welcome to join!
