Have your say today! P&C 2020-2023 Planning Survey

Your are invited to please take a few minutes to complete the P&C 2020-2023 Planning Survey to help us prepare for 2020 and beyond. This is your chance to provide feedback and input that will help to shape the P&C's services, initiatives, activities, communications and priorities for the next 3 to 4 years. ALL members of our school community are invited to participate (members and non-members).

Thank you to all Yeronga State School families and friends for your outstanding support of P&C fundraising, activities and initiatives this year. The generosity of our school community enables the P&C to provide significant financial support for infrastructure and resources to assist our children and school that wouldn’t be available through any other means. Your input through the survey will ensure the P&C continues to meet the needs of our school community well into the future.

Seeking a new P&C Treasurer in 2020

2019 has been a big year for the P&C and our wonderful Treasurer, Anna, has advised that she will step down from the role next year. This is key role on the P&C Executive Committee and we are keen to find a new Treasurer in time for our AGM on Tuesday, 18 February, 2020.

If you are an accountant, or have book keeping or accounting experience, we'd love to hear from you! Our Finance Officer looks after our books, but we need someone with an ability to provide oversight and explain the monthly financial statements to members at our monthly meetings. Please email Kym at yerongasspandc@gmail.com if you'd like to find out more, or to nominate for P&C Treasurer in 2020. You'll be joining a terrific team!

THANK YOU for a terrific year!

On behalf of the P&C, THANK YOU for your terrific support throughout 2019. This has been an enormous year of activity, community and milestones and we can't thank our members, parents, carers, teachers and school community enough for your incredible support for P&C initiatives. Thanks to you and our fellow parents and carers, the terrific teachers and school admin team, our school is a vibrant, connected and supportive community that comes together to provide a range of important resources to support our children and their education.

This year we celebrated a tremendous Fete, creation of the new Nature Play space for our Junior School kids, and air conditioned every classroom in the school. This is in addition to a huge list of annual activities including Bunnings sausage sizzles, an election BBQ, Easter raffle, Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls, snow cone stalls, a fabulous Trivia Night, the Building Fund Appeal, World Teachers' Day morning tea, Welcome BBQ/picnic, and Welcome Morning Tea for new families to our school. WOW! That's a lot of activity, no wonder everyone is starting to feel a little weary as we head to the end of the school year.

Thank you for your contribution to our school community. We wish you a wonderful summer holiday and Christmas festive season and look forward to seeing you back at school in January 2020.
