Yeronga SS will be Cashless in 2020

As Yeronga continues to grow the office does it’s best to make changes to ensure parents can conveniently pay for excursions/incursion is the most efficient way possible. This means as of 2020 Yeronga will no longer be accepting cash payments.

Our methods of payments will be via BPoint or Qparents.

To pay via BPoint you will find all the needed details at the bottom of every invoice. All invoices are emailed to parents and will come from the email address rbenn127@eq.edu.au.

Qparents is another great way to pay your invoices as well as track what you have paid and what is still outstanding. If you do not have access to Qparents please contact the office as soon as possible and we will be able to set you up with an invitation.

Lost and Found

As the end of 2019 is approaching we have a large amount of lost and found items. Please get your students to check if there are any items that belong to them before 2.30pm on Friday 13 December 2019. These items will no longer be available to collect after 2.30pm. We look forward to knowing that all students have collected their belongings over the next 3 weeks.  

If your student has misplaced an item of greater value such as reading glasses or jewellery please come to the office to confirm if we have your item. Below are 5 sets of reading glasses that need to find their home before the end of school.

Medication & Action Plans

Please ensure all medication and action plans for your student/s have be collected from the office / classroom by Friday 13 December 2019 before the school finishes.

NO CAP, NO SWIM.

All students need to have a sun shirt/rashie and a swim cap to participate in school swimming lessons and both the senior and junior school swimming carnival (Senior held next Tuesday 26th November, Junior Tuesday 3rd December).

Yeronga State School caps are available in sporting house colours through the uniform shop (open Monday 8:30 - 9:30 and Thursday 2:30 - 3:30) or order through Flexi-schools.

To ensure your student can swim please ensure you have a swimming cap as soon as possible by ordering a cap this week. The uniform shop will be selling caps at the pool for emergency's only in the morning of the swimming carnival from 8:30 - 9:30. Caps are $9 each.
