P&C Report
YOUR VIEWS ARE IMPORTANT: Please complete the P&C feedback and planning survey
Thank you to all Yeronga State School families and friends for your outstanding support of P&C fundraising, activities and initiatives during 2019. The generosity of our school community enables the P&C to provide significant financial support for infrastructure and resources to assist our children and school that wouldn’t be available through any other means.
To prepare for 2020 and beyond, the P&C is now seeking feedback and input from all members, parents and carers about P&C services, initiatives, activities, communications and priorities. Your views are important and your responses to this survey will help to guide the development of the P&C’s new 2020-2024 strategic plan.

Seeking quotes to upgrade old netball court oval
The P&C is working with the school in an effort to source funding to upgrade the 'old netball courts' oval behind the school hall, YOSHC , music building and the library. This will involve grading the degraded bank/hill that leads from the school buildings to the oval, removing the existing grass/ground cover, and adding top soil and new grass to the whole area.
Before we can proceed, quotes are needed to carry out the work. Please contact the P&C at ysspandcpresident@gmail.com for more information or to make a time to view the area for quoting purposes.
P&C Operations Manager role - applications close Sunday, 24 November
Applications for the new YSS P&C Operations Manager position are now open (advertised on SEEK) and close at 11:30pm THIS Sunday evening 24 November. This new role has been created to ensure the continued sustainability, quality and growth of the P&C and its operations (Tuckshop, Uniform Shop, YOSHC, and fundraising and community building activities).
If you are interested in the role please email P&C presidents, Kym Mansfield and Hamish Townsend, at ysspandcpresident@gmail.com to obtain a copy of the P&C Operations Manager Position Description and Key Selection Criteria. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
