Book Week

Each year, schools and public libraries across Australia spend a week celebrating books, authors and illustrators. This year was no different as Yeronga State School hosted authors Cameron Stelzer, Brian Falkner, Candice Lemon-Scott and Big Dream Performance. The week concluded with a spectacular Book Character Parade for Prep to Year 2 students.  Teachers who attended the author sessions all reported that students returned to class eager to start writing their own stories. Thank you to all who supported the events of Book Week.
