New Wellbeing Officer
Hello Yeronga State School!
My name is Jane, and I am thrilled to join you as your new Student Wellbeing Officer. Im so excited for term 4 and I can’t wait to meet everyone!
I grew up in Sawtell, NSW and moved to Brisbane when I was 18 to study Psychology. I loved learning about people so much that I decided to pursue a PhD in Developmental Psychology, which I’m nearly finished! In my free time, I love sewing, cooking, and spending time at the beach.
With a background in psychology and support work, I am deeply passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of young people. As the Wellbeing Officer, I will work closely with staff members to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development of all our students. I’ll be at School on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so if you see me around, don’t hesitate to say hello!
Looking forward to a wonderful term together!
Warm regards,
Jane Minogue
