Pie Drive Orders will close Friday 4th October at 5pm. Pies will be made fresh and delivered for collection Friday 18th October outside the Tuckshop. Please remember to pick up your pies on this day as we are unable to store them over the weekend.

#DemocracySausage  - Election Day BBQ Stall 26 October

It is the countdown to delicious goodness from our YSS Tong Team. On Saturday 26th October, the school will be buzzing with excitement as the community attends to vote. This year, we will be surprising voters with a sausage sizzle. Funds raised will help the P & C to contribute to school events and improvements.

Why not pop on a BBQ apron and flip some snags? We need volunteers to cook, serve and sell. If you're coming to vote, come join us for a 2 hour volunteer spot and mingle with some other school families. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends.

2024 Prep uniform fittings – Volunteers needed

2025 Prep uniform fittings are coming up! This is a big job for our uniform shop staff, and we are looking for volunteers to help any time between 10am-3pm on the following days:

Monday 18 November, Wednesday 20 November, Friday 22 November, Monday 25 November, Wednesday 27 November.

Mango Fundraiser

From week 10, you will be able to order a tray of mangos straight from Flexischools, with proceeds going to the P&C.  Orders will close on Thursday 24th October and will be available for collection in week 10 (ending Friday 6th December. Let your friends and family know and order for everyone!

Art Soiree

The Yeronga State School Art Soiree is one of the biggest events on the P &C social calendar. It’s coming up on Friday 22 November, and this year will feature a secret parent musical performance! The Art Soiree is an adults only event. Watch this space for tickets, volunteer sign ups (including hanging of your children’s own art work!) and more. Fete / Events Coordinator

Yeronga State School has had some legendary fetes and fun fairs. We are looking for a special someone (or someones) to be Fete or Event Coordinator going into 2025. There is a ‘Yeronga SS Fete Bible’ to guide you through the process, and lots of willing volunteers to help out.

End of Term Celebration – Thank you

Thank you to everyone who came down to support the P and C End of Term Celebration at the Mooroooka Clubhouse. It was a great event, and we have been remiss in thanking a few people and sponsors. Thanks to the team at Yeronga Bakers Delight   for their very generous bread donations. Thanks also to Prestige Meats in Fairfield for their donations of gourmet sausages. A very big shout out to Shed Choir (Shed Choir | Facebook), who created such a happy vibe on the night. Finally thank you to our wonderful band of parent volunteers on the night!
