Semester 2 Parent Teacher Interviews

Parent Teacher Interviews will be scheduled for Monday 12 August and Thursday 15 August. Please look out for the invitation to make an interview time. This face-to-face time with your child’s teacher is invaluable for sharing the contextual information that provides a richer understanding of the individual student report that is provided to parents.

School Opinion Survey

The suite of School Opinion Surveys is undertaken each year by the Department of Education to obtain opinions about our school from families, school staff and students in target year levels (Year 5 and 6). School Opinion surveys help identify what we are doing well, and understand where we can improve.  Each school family will receive one email invitation from the Department of Education to complete the Parent/Caregiver Survey. Invitations will be sent over a number of days in the week beginning Monday 15 July.  The survey will close on 16 August.   Parents/Caregivers are encouraged to complete this anonymous survey.

Parents/caregivers who experience difficulties accessing the survey can request a new survey from the School Opinion Survey team via email schoolopinionsurvey@qed.qld.gov.au.   Parents are encouraged to check junk email folders and all active family email addresses should they not find the invitation after the week beginning Monday, 15 July. It’s important that as many parents/caregivers as possible complete the survey. Supporting our PandC

Yeronga State School has enjoyed a long history of rich extra-curricular opportunities for our children. Not the least of which are wonderful nature playgrounds, additional music, sport and visual arts, extension programs etc. The funds raised over the years have been raised by our incredibly supportive parents. The PandC is the organisational body for this, and needs your help for YSS to be able to go above and beyond in terms of fantastic opportunities for our children.
