Premier's Reading Challenge
Premier’s Reading Challenge is on! Please download the reader form and have your completed form into the library by 23 August. Prep to Year 3 students need to read or have 20 books read to them and Year 5 – 6 only need to read 15 books. All our students can easily make this and earn them selves a certificate.
Author Visit
Dear Parents,
We have an exciting opportunity to inspire our students with a visit from the talented author Cameron Steltzer! Cameron’s engaging storytelling and unique perspective promise to ignite a love for reading and creativity in our children. We have many of Cameron’s books as readers for our older students. It would be lovely for them to hear from him about the design and writing of the books such as Pie Rats, and the Scallywags.
For our younger students Cameron will be sharing his ideas of his artworks and story writing in the Stroogle series and chapter books SOS – Super Outstanding Stories!
To make this memorable experience possible, we’re reaching out to our supportive community for voluntary donations. Your generous contributions will help cover the costs of this enriching event, ensuring that all students can benefit from Cameron’s visit.
Let’s come together to make this opportunity a reality and spark a lifelong passion for literature in our kids. Please consider making a gold coin donation.
Warm regards,
Debbie Cowie
